Connect2Agent puts the spotlight on the Smyrna Georgia real estate market
Today, we put the spotlight on Smyrna Georgia. The following is an email interview I conducted with Connect2Agent member Susan Edwards, of Heritage Real Estate Brokers. Edwards sells real estate in Smyrna Georgia, and lent her insight into her local real estate market today.
First, how did you achieve the Goldline Research 2007 Most Dependable Award?
Goldline uses a rigorous proprietary research selection process. They chose Atlanta area candidates who were recognized for accomplishments, such as members of the Million Dollar Club, Cobb Board of Realtors Top Achievers and agents who were members of two or more Multiple Listing Services--giving their home sale listings greater exposure--and agents taking pride in maintaining the highest standard of performance and application of Georgia Real Estate Law. Several clients of each agent were interviewed about the transactions that the agent had handled for them. Personal service and genuine commitment were contributing factors to agents who were awarded. It was a true honor to be among the Ten Most Dependable Real Estate Professionals in the Atlanta area.
There is a good inventory of homes in Smyrna Georgia. West Cobb areas such as Smyrna provide more home for the dollar and you will get a newer home-and larger home--than East Cobb area, where prices are higher. How did the drought affect real estate in your area?
I do not feel the drought affected real estate in my area. We still have water--it's more a distribution issue.
Have their been any new regulations to help stem the problem from recurring?
